I’m 19 years old. In feb 2018 I had my gallbladder removed as I was having bad attacks, they detected gallstones on ultrasound and I developed pancreatitis.
I’ve had several episodes of pain since my op. At least 10. But my most current was the worst. I had lower back pain that got worse and worse. I was sweating so bad and it was unbearable and I fainted. The attack was similar if no identical to my past gallstone attacks. I still feel off today (feeling sick, diarrheoa, no energy). I’ve been to the doctors and their doing bloods and probably will refer me to a specialist.
has anyone had anything similar after having their gallbldder removed?
I’ve had my gb out and I’ve never had what you’re desxribing. I’m not a doctor, but that sounds kidney related to me. (the lower back pain could be your kidneys) Hopefully you have a good doctor whom you trust and he/she will be on it to get you well. If the pain was that bad, be bold and tell your doctor that you need help asap because you fainted because of the pain. Don’t let the dr. drag his/her feet. Could be something very simple to fix and you don’t need to be dealing with this for months and months. Good luck.
