I am 53 had a post menopausal bleed about eight weeks ago was referred to gyn had trans vaginal scan was then sent on for an urgent mri was diagnosed with non malignant fibroids but am awaiting d and.c am now unclear why i am having a d and.c but have had another post menopausal bleed and pelvi pain on right side could this be the fibroid am worried now.
Yes, all symptoms point to your fibroids. I was given the option to have a hysterectomy, I said no I'll live with pain & d & c over removing anything.
Hi Etain, i am peri but am experiencing pains almost all month from a single fibroid which was found when i had a TVUSS. I am awaiting a gynea appointment. my pain is like a dull period pain and i get back ache too xx
Every doc treats fibroids differently. If you do not want the d & c, ask for a different treatment plan. There are other options. I had fibroids for years. They shrunk when I went on the birth control pill and disappeared after menopause.
