On top of recovering from my surgery I now have a viral infection, the problem is when I cough or sneeze it is causing a lot if pain in the area where my gall bladder used to be, can this do any damage to the area?
omg, I thought something like this only happened to me... I developed a cold also day after surgery.. the pain it caused when I coughed was TERRIBLE ! my whole right flank felt like lightning when I had to cough which I tried not to do without much luck, and yes sneezing too was scary. its been 15 days post op and Im feeling MUCH better but still have a weird hurt under my rikbcage and a pain still in my lower back which keeps me from sleeping in bed. Ive slept in my recliner all this time. I do think Im getting bettwer little by little. Im so glad though that my GB is out ! that pain was awful
Good to know I'm not on my own it's been 3 weeks since my op the pain had pretty much disappeared unless I overdid it it is the fatigue I've struggled with to be honest, I was prepared to feel pain but not he fatigue but now the pain is excruciating due to the coughing, it's like the day after the op
I had my gallbladder removed in March and also then caught a cold!! It was horrific and the coughing caused my one wound to reopen and get infected!!. Once the doctors gave me my 3rd lot of antibiotics I started to feel human again!! It took almost 5 weeks after my op for the pain and cough to subside but 2 months on and I'm there pain free and feeling normal again with food 😁😁
Glad to know your in the mend terilou
I'm waiting for my gallbladder to be removed and currently have a really cheery cough. I'm scared to cough as it hurts my gallbladder area so much 😢
