Post prostectomy

Hi guys had radical prostectomy Feb 16 after exercise and anything strenuous I see little traces of blood on my incontinence pad. Has anyone else come across this?

Nick G

Nick: I had the same on 10 March. I have had no such issues. Best report this to your urologist.

I don't think it wise for anyone to speculate on a cause as only a professional can actually take any action

I hope things go Bette for you.

Thanks Stewarta waiting to see my urologist but these appointments take ages.

It may mean a cystoscopy (camera up the urethra) to see the problem, if any.

Stewarta...I've had some spotting on and off especially after pushing myself a little...I mentioned it to all concerned and it seemed that it was expected and nobody was concerned at all...

I found the 1st couple of years was the worst and now after 4 years it's only something that happens about once or twice a year...

Thank you Komi Cruiser you have put my mind at rest I am surprised no one else has mentioned the blood in urine before but you have made me feel a lot better

May I suggest you find yourself a men's sexual health physician. This is a general Practioner or primary care physician who specialises in men, usually focussing on bladder prostate and bowel.

Such a doctor would be available far more readily than a urologist and such a  doctor would know the answer to the question you're asking and will be asking in the future,
