I had a modified radical mastoidectomy 6 days ago and i'm still in moderate pain/discomfort, although the watery blood seems to be drying up a little. A good night's sleep has been impossible (it's currently 2:55 am) and it's getting me down. I feel like the pain will never go. I'm not sure if this is anything to worry about as I didn't see a doctor after surgery, so I have been left in limbo until they send me a follow up appointment.

I know it's been some time since your post op but I was wondering how long did it take for your pain to get better ? I am going on 9 days and I am still in soooooo much pain

my 15 year old son has had the same operation 4,days ago. He doesn't seem to be in much pain but does get dizzy. I am really worried because he keeps being sick mostly liquid though not so much food about 3 times i n the day. Got him a doctors appointment for tomorrow but just wondered if you suffered any sickness?
