Posterior repair- Bleeding from back passage

i have posted previously. I've not been lucky, infection and lost stitches early on. I keep losing clots, but now bleeding back passage as well. Has any one else had this?

Hi wishing I think the best advice is to see ur GP or consultant asap to get checked over , I'm 11 weeks post op nearly not had any if this , let us know how u get on

Wishing when you say you're bleeding is it fresh  (red) or a dark red/brown (old) blood? How much are you bleeding? Sometimes it looks much more than it is. Is it continuous or when you go to the toilet? Sorry there's so many questions but it's the easiest way to say how urgent it is.

OMG, hasn't it. Should have been losing clots!!

Hi. All types of bleeding. Bright red, dark clots. Flow varies. Gone from changing pads, to using padded knickers. Infection smell is disgusting I'm seeing my consultant on Monday, so will wait. I'm managing at home, hospital at weekend not the best place.

Thanks. I'm seeing consultant on Monday so will wait. Just wondering if anyone else gone through it, and what it means.

Sounds as though you have an infection. Just a piece of advice because it's probably an infection if you become unwell tomorrow you should seek medical advice asap and not wait until Monday. So if you have a temperature, pain or the bleeding gets any worse that's the time to speak to a doctor.

Thanks for your advice. I have just finished a course of double antibiotics. Maybe I just need a second course. I know antibiotics carry on working for 2 extra days. But if pain increases, or bleeding I will definitely ask for help. Good to have on the site x
