Potassium and Vitamin B12 injections.

Hi

I was wondering if anyone who was having vitamin B12 injections has a low potassium level as a result and how it was managed.

I had this and it is common. My doc gave me a supplements short term to get the potassium up. Also look at a potassium rich diet with bananas and coconut water etc. Don't supplement yourself as too much potassium can be toxic so you need to have it monitored

Thanks Kaye. I did have Sandoz K but it caused a fast heartrate after a small dose. I eat several avocados a day now plus bananas.I will try th coconut water but as you have said it is important not to overdo it.
