So Ive been dealing with chronic gastritis for 7 months that wont go away. Im taking zantac which helps me but doesn’t completely make it go away. My doctors have prescribed PPI’s which seem to work a little better but they give me horrible diarrhea! It goes away a few days after I stop taking them. I’ve read that PPI’s can cause C Diff infection, my question is when PPI’s give me diarrhea is it C Diff? Why does zantac not give me diarrhea?
Have you tried esomeprasole?
