Pre-Op Next Monday....😁

Hiya my fine hippies…
Been waiting for 5 months but next Monday I have my pre-op for my left hip ..had my RTHR last October and have been in lots of pain over the last six months with my left, so looking forward to the end game, not really looking forward to the op itself but all went well last October so another in and out and I’ll be all set…
So fingers crossed all goes well and thanks to all you fine hippies that have kept me going through the dark days…

Hi Pete great news about your
pre-op. My left hip was replaced in December and my right at the end of June. I haven’t had the benefit of the first replacement because the other hip was really bad. 5 weeks later and I am struggling with the recovery but I think that’s normal at this stage. I can’t wait until I can get my life back. Praying that your operation goes well and you have a speedy recovery X

good luck. How did you get on with recovery on your other hip? I had my first (any hopefully my only THR) mid March and can’t image having another so soon. I’m doing well but, probably because I suffered a long time previously, it is taking time to recover.

Hiya..
Well was in this first thing this morning for my Pre-Op and all went well no data yet but hopefully in next few weeks…
Marti60255 I got on very well with the recovery on my right hip, all things going well the recovery for my left will be the same…
It’s been a long 18months and it feels like a life time Just can’t wait to get my life back and enjoy the normal things again, I use to love walking but over the last couple of years it’s become unbearable with the amount of pain it leaves you in, my wife has been such a support throughout all this and I can’t believe how I would have got here without her…
For you hippies that have to go it alone my heart goes out to ya..
