I took my last prednisone pill on Friday, it's now Sunday afternoon. Can I take so advil with my methotrexate? Have pain again in shoulders and fingers. Thanks.
Advil is a no-no. Tylenol or acetaminophen are okay.

s an Anti-inflamatory. Tylanol is not much help if it's inflamation. Advil or Aleve (naproxzin ) are both OTC anti-inflamatory medications. Tylanol is not: just a pain reliever.
Depending upon de severity of ur pain u should take methotrexate as advised by ur doctor and one 5mg prednsolon in de morning after breakfast and one 5 mg folic acid tab after lunch for three days after taking methotrexate. U can reduce prednsolon half tab a day or one tab every alternate day when u feel relief in ur pain. I. Am writing this from my own experience but again I will suggest that u consult ur physician.
