Pregnancy & ME

Hey everyone - NO IM NOT PREGNANT

BUT....

I was on a training day recently and speaking to a woman who's sister had ME and was pregnant. She was explaining how she had no ME symptons and felt great :D

Maybe we could all get pregnant and live happily ever after?

Oh now theres a thought what about Matt? :?

I've heard someone else say that. You would think that would give the researchers a springboard - investigating what changes in pregnancy. But I guess the sceptics will just see it as being a hormonal disorder after all, despite the fact that guys get it too.

Well, I'm willing to give it a try! Trouble is I'm too old and have had all my bits removed anyway. :cupcake: Whoops, wrong symbol - never mind I like it anyway!

No seriously, what you say is interesting - there must be a hormone released in pregnancy that reduces symptoms (as Alicia said) - but that happens with a number of other condition, too. I wonder what happens when the baby is actually born - do symptoms return with vengence? :?

You are young enough to give it a try, Donna, and then you can let us know? Careful though, pregnancy can give you piles!! (Mind you, your're not going to get very far if you spend your life wrapped up in your duvet like a sausage roll!!)

I've just found my knitting needles and have started on those bootees - so you had better get a move on, Donna!

Yes, pregnancy and childbirth most definitely can give one piles

Ha ha ha

Aren't we funny :D

Well that might be whats in the way of this new found cure for ME - a 15 tog Duvet!

But if I leave my newly painted toes hanging that might just tempt him to unravel the layers of duck feather!

He's gone out with the boys tonight and I would imagine when he gets home he wont have the energy and will simple crawl into bed and not even bother to fight for the duvet! Oh well nevermind

Children are out of the question for us because not just only do I have ME but my hubbie has Chrones Disease and Steroids lower his reproductive tadpoles! PLus our own children are less dependant on us now! Oh well it looks like its all down to you Alicia!

I'm off to our local 24 hour supermarlet to collect the Bounty Pack now!

P.S OH I have an idea  Lets ask Dale or Rach to have a baby :P

If you think it will help, will I give it a go. After all I am going away on Monday, the days at sea I could always well you know :smooch: Just the thought of it :bleep: . As I have said before I'm 35 going on 90. Don't encourage me  the thought of what I have to do sends me  Donna send me some of your :wizard: Help the closer it gets the worse I feel. :blue: :ill: :ill: :ill:

Sorry Donna, I'm 51, menopausal and I've been spayed!
