I've had this sore pop up I've similar sores 2 times before but the last time I went to the doctor they said it was folliculitus and gave me creams . In 2019 I had a blood test done for HSV 1 and 2 both came back negative. Are those test accurate? Could I still contract it if it shows up negative in my blood? The sores are only painful to touch,itchy but no burning sensations. I'm pregnant could this harm my baby?? please help .

You could have been infected after you were tested so it would be good to repeat it. You need to know if it’s herpes because if you have an outbreak when giving birth, it can be dangerous for the baby.
From the picture I think it could be herpes but it folliculitis is also a possibility so another test would definitely be a good idea.
