Brill, congrats to everyone.  There is nothing like a new born baby to put a smile on your face.

Yippee, I have been waiting for the news.

Welcome to Rory John.

Congratulations(!), and glad to see no mention of pmr for a change.

I embrace the good news!

My brothers are both new "grandpa-aged" fathers, life is goood!

Mags, so pleased to hear of the safe arrival of Rory.  Many congratulations to the new mummy and daddy and to the proud grandparents as well.

Our little grandson is now 4 weeks old and I've had the biggest cuddle today.  His daddy is a Star Wars fan and his mummy surprised everyone by appearing with the little one dressed in a storm trooper babygro and hat - he looked sooo cute - I wish I could post a photo!

My Congrats to you and your family. Ain't life grand. Yes, wish we could share pics.

cheers

Kathy

Hi going to see him today all being well, so glad to hear your good news too.

Its a feeling like no other. the photot sounds brilliant.

Take care Mags

Mags, enjoy every moment with Rory today - as you say "a feeling like no other" - with an amazig surge of love and emotion.

Congratulations! Wonderful news. X

Oh i will,  they sent me a photo from the hospital where he is ready to come home, he so cute i cannot stop crying as i thought i would never see this day, my friend said its a different feeling to your own children.

It is, but nothing can compare, in my opinion, to your firstborn being put into your arms.  We had been married for nine years before our daughter was born.  She slipped easily into this world and I laughed!!  She looked just like her grandma!😄😄 (she still does), and her grandma was a real darling - she died when she was 96.

Hi Mags, I agree with your friend.  I have never experienced the feeling that I got with my grandchildren.  It's hard to describe, You do things with them and for them that you necessarily wouldn't do for your own children.  Like passing them their glass of milk/juice which is in their reach lol.  Enjoy Rory, you will spoil him rotten, if you're allowed lol.
