due to swallowing problems I cannot drink sufficient volumes of water for usual pic old bowel prep. Would taking Senna the day before and an enema at hospital just prior to colonoscopy clear the bowel enough ?
Hi i would probably say no it won't be enough, but I'm no expert i would ring up the hospital and ask to speak to a gastroenterologist directly there the ones that will tell you. I'm really nervous about mine i also choke on bile and have a few times on foods. Keep me updated on how u get on please. Good luck.

There are other preparations available that require less water, but you need expert advice on whether they would be suitable for you.

Also have thickener for all fluids. Can I take this during prep ?
Alexi -- You'll find that different doctors have a preference for different preparations. I don't know why but they are a bit anal about it Speak to the Dr who is doing the procedure before changing the instructions one iota!
