How much of heart disease, stroke, cancer and other chronic diseases are preventable. Worried Il get one of them so I'm thinking exercise and go vegan, stop smoking
Hey Tom, sounds like you've got it all worked out and are putting in place some pretty good preventative measures in place. That's bound to reduce your chances of getting the diseases you mentioned. My question is what about genetics and fate? Can we prevent those? Youll be fine honey. I take my hat off to ya! Donna xxx

Most. Not smoking is a good start
Consider your age, How old are you. I am sixty eight and I have been through all the associated tests of health concerns that we get when older.
Look at it this way, we are generally living longer and hopefully we will live to our seventies or eighties.
We are all going to die of something, sorry, we live our lives and enjoy the time we have left
Live and enjoy your time
Stop worrying

Without a doubt, not smoking will help. Excercise definetly good for mind and body. Reduce refined sugars. Eat leafy greens and protein rich foods. Drink, keep hydrated, don't over do alcohol.
Will this completely prevent getting a chronic disease? I don't think that's a question that can possibly be answered. There's absolutely no way of predicting the future. But it'll certainly help your overall health and wellbeing.
