sorry to be a pain.

I had that with a post this morning but like you used a different way of getting in. This time I was able to access your post from the email.

I think patient.info has tried to do too much, too fast and without thinking - just like the NHS IT scheme. The forum has been very quiet recently - I wonder if they have succeeded in strangling it yet again. In the time I've been on this forum, this is the third attempt.

Its funny -- as in funny = strange -- I've had that feeling too. Some of the functionality on this platform makes it less and not more user-friendly. I can only wonder where the benefit lies with decreased functionality. I'm not going to let this curtail my use though.

my attempts to read these posts did the same thing. I'm glad its been fixed

I have had the same problem.

If the idea was to cut back use of this forum by us hyperinvolved PMR/GCA patients they've been very successful. I enter the site through a shortcut to the home PMR page on my desktop. Have found using the site to be painfully slow since the latest "upgrade".

I have noticed fewer PMR discussions.

Glad someone else finds it slow - not just me!

PHEW! thought it was just me, i hope we can all continue to message as i learn from you all.

And the beat goes on: just now I got an error message and had to enter by the side door.....still works but many more clicks..... I wonder how many folks no longer bother. The site has been quite subdued these past few weeks....

I'm sure it has had an effect. So annoying after over 10 years of a really good forum.

SAME HERE ITS SUCH A PAIN. I AM ON ANOTHER PATIENT FORUM AND ITS HAPPENING THERE TOO.

It's a hit and miss with the forum just now though I've not been on because first OH had a nasty virus which is on the rounds and now I have succumbed. Have to keep moving though..... nothing else for it. OH still not great. I'm continuing to reduce and hoping the virus doesn't cause a problem.

Get well soon - both of you. Seems to have been a rubbish xmas and NY for loads of us!!! My OH is improving - has gained some weight back but given the extra choccy biccies and nutritional supplements I'd hope!!

Glad it's not just me. I guess the IT people have an inflated opinion of their abilities.

I also Peggy, not good at all.

Thank you, Eileen. Glad David is gaining some weight. It's not easy when they lose, whereas I would gladly lose some. Doesn't seem to be how it works, unfortunately. I hope 2019 proves a better year for you both.

I think it is happening on all the patient forums. Real pain, I just don't bother to look at the messages because of the effort.

I follow a couple of others too and there's been hardly any activity for ages.

Lets hope they get it right soon, where would we be without this forum
