Hey, I’ve had this for awhile since Jan 2020, and I frequently get problems down there with irratation and flare ups. This isn’t your fault, we had sex just like the rest of the population and sadly, we got some mild skin virus. Thats it!! Thats all it is. Such a huge stigma around something that doesn’t even have any dire effects except for the mental toll of knowing you have it. All we can do is continue on and pray for better days to come. Pick your head up love, you got this <3
the pain of urinating will only last for a few days. i tried everything honestly that was the worst part for me.
1.pouring water on it while urinating
2. vaseline on your open sore its kinda like a protection
3.ice
4. a numbing agent like acyclovir
5. pee in a cup( i cut out the bottom of a small dixie cup put vaseline around the edges pressed it above my urethra but underneath my peehole (and it worked)
6. bend over the toilet and spread the vagina lips put tissue over them if need be. with the pee going straight down it helps avoid the pee from touching the sore.
7. and last but not least make a count down and breath this is not so much for the pain but just to actually help you get through it faster
I’m so sorry you have to go through this. everyone always talks about how the stigma affects your mental but never about how the physical pain and the way it looks could actually affect you. i hope they find a cure soon nobody deserves this. stay safe❤
