prolapsed bladder with sharp pain up left groin

I have just been told i have a prolapsed bladder, 4 months ago i had to attend A and E with a pain in my bladder, i was told it could be Intersitial cystitis which is inflammation of the bladder lining, my doctor seemed reluctant to refer me and its taken this long with discomfort and pain to get a transvaginal scan, i get the result monday.  What i,m concerned about is the sharp pain which is up the left side of my vagina, i am a pessimist and always think the worst because my mother died with bowel cancer at 68, my age, i have had a bowel scan 3 years back and it was ok.  Does anyone experience this pain with a prolapse, i think its about stage 1 at the moment.

have sent you a private message Ann x

Hi Ann,I had pain in the right side of my vagina before my anterior repair,so in my opinion it is associated with the prolapse, best to talk it through with your GP and your consultant tho

three and a half years ago i felt something [pop' when having a constipated bowel movement.

in the following weeks i became ill.

fever, light coloured poop, and assorted pain including left pelvic and menstrual type cramps.

i'm your age.!

although i have had all the tests imaginable, they still have not come up with a diagnosis.

i know i have fibroids , some of which are calcified.

my uterus is leaning back and irregular but nobody mentioned a prolapse.

i still have the pain and loose bowel movement and digestion problems.and frequency urinating.

its only just lately i,ve realised it could be some kind of prolapse.

i really dont know what to do any more.

various prolapse sites say dont have surgery.
