propranolol weight gain

Has anyone not put on weight using propranolol, i started taking 20 mg yesterday and petrified of putting on weight

I was on 80mg for 3 months and gained about half a stone, so I decided to stop. 20mg isn't a lot so you may be fine.

oh no,i have just been put on 40mg twice a day,really do not want to put on weigh

I've started 80mg again so I will see what happens this time. My doctor has assured me it is not a known side effect according to her book.
