is anyone on propranolol the doctor has put me on 10mg of it and im scared to take it,i have a phobia of medication anyway but im scared of the side affects and what it will make me feel like

I take 40mg when I feel I need to, you’ll be fine with it
Just think of how badly you want to feel better and stop worrying. Try the medication it may be the best thing for you! And if you find you really dont like it then you can switch to a different kind that might make you feel amazing! Dont let side effects scare you. Think of the positives that can come from it.
ive been on them for many years i take 160 mils daily they do there job for me

No side effects! I take lexapro at night and then 10 mg of propranolol in the morning for rapid heart rate and it works!

i tried one day and made my heart rate lower but i was a sleep for 24/7
its good for the heart rate but me personally i like my heart rate high as its a sign that you body is trying to tell you sumthink
Unless it’s for an actual heart issue I wouldn’t take it. I was quite fit at the start of my anxiety problems and had a low resting heart rate, which dropped it even further to like 40bpm at times, and gave me terrible palpitations. I’d leave well alone and learn breathing techniques, they help me even when I’m convinced I’m about to have a heart attack.
