for about a year now i have struggled with a prostate cyst that i know is causing me uncomfort in my prostate area, pelvic pain and recurring water infections. i'm waiting for another scan of my bladder in november and i don't think i can cope much longer with the pain. i'm only 17 years old and because i'm at this age they don't see why it's causing me any problems. the cyst in in the middle of something near the ejaculatory duct or something. is there anything i can take or do to help ease the pain? the scan i have in november is of my bladder so i assume i'll be waiting even longer for them to actually start looking into my prostate.
If I were you, I wouldn't wait until November. I would get another opinion from another urologist in an unrelated practice. In other words, a urologist who doesn't work in the same office as the one you saw before. That first urologist should have already taken action.

After years of issues I discovered by accident I had a cyst, pressing on my bladder neck (yeah, that'll cause symptoms alright!). Going to have Dr. K (aramanian) in Houston take care of it with his Visualase when he does my BPH ablation in two weeks. SO excited to get this fixed! I suggest you get in touch with Dr. K. (Prostate Laser Center Houston), get a 3T MRI done to be sure of what you have going on. I am of the personal opinion anyone with prostate issues should have a 3T MRI to optain a real, true picture of what's happening with YOUR specific, unique anatomy!
Wishing you the best.
