ok long story here. - 3 months ago I slept with a girl and no issue, slept with another girl a few weeks later and noticed I needed to ejaculate immediately which was weird. 1 week after I noticed I had no sex drive, could barely get erect, sore testicles.
Dr tested me for Stds and gave me dpxycycline incase,(did nothing) results came back negative but showed a bladder infection (ecoli). given 10 days of Ciprofloxacin (helped the epididymitis). My erections came back completely but i still didnt feel amazing. After not being happy with the doctor I went to one who listened and gave me 14 days of Apo-sulfatrim and sent a referral to a urologist. seemed to help slowly
I'm not overly happy with the Urologist - I go there get a urine culture/flow test and semen culture and told to take 6 more weeks of antibiotics (making a total of 8 weeks straight) - all before any results came back. went questioned was told as I was already on antibiotics it will possibly come back negative...
anyway so all the way up until week 7 I felt the same but then the last 2 weeks I felt the best I had since the start. Hard elections, Returning sex drive and appetite, no pain and a general happy mood. Saw the urologist, told him and he was happy and said see you in 5 weeks, but now in my last week I feel like it's returned. not as much appetite, pain above lest testicle (pant line area) moods are bad, feel prostate swollen.
1 why would it get suddenly better at week 7 then relapse at week 8 of antibiotics is this thing bacterial or no??
2 If my bladder got infected with Ecoli is it safe to assume it's bacterial prostatis??
3 was told to ejaculate regularly but that seems to cause that pain above the lest testicle near pant line.
desperate for any help.

Very strange cluster of symptoms. Is it possible there is a back/spinal issue underlying? Hernia?
3 years ago I hurt my L4/5 disk - ruptured the annulus which is the coating of the disc.
I thought about that alot but the fact I started all this from epididymitis or the bladder infection of ecoli makes me think bacterial mostly

Yeah it's strange. all the signs of prostatis but I can't seem to shake it
I did rejoin the gym last week did a very light workout, if this is a back injury doing this maybe the workout aggravated the prostate region causing me to relapse.
But i only felt amazing for 1 week (week 7) out of the 8 weeks of antibiotics so I find it weird if it was a 3 year old back injury causing my prostatitis that it would be pain free for just a week then relapse cause of the gym

it's not 100% but it's steady.
it takes me 5 minutes to pee if I try after sex/masturbation (urologist told me to pee after)
I had very bad urinary symptoms, but I also think I had (have) prostatitis like you do. The so called Dr. did turp so I could pee again, but it never relieved the Prostatitis. I wish I never had it done, but I was so scared and there were no answers. It's hard to lick. It gets under the Prostate shell. Once there it's hard to get it out. Prostatitis is a horrible disease. Women carry many more germs than they used too. Steve
Since having Sepsis 22 months ago, I have never got rid of urine infections which are now classed as Prostatitis. Have had numerous 6 week courses of sometimes the same antibiotics. Really think it needs a specialist in infections to sort this type of thing out. Also had TURP and no erections or ejaculations so nothing clearing out my prostate. Urologists seem more interested in the main to operate on things rather than finding the cause. Good luck.

I think it needs a specialist aswell, there are so many types of bacterias and to just throw different antibiotics at us usually does nothing... thank you !
