prostrate i have had several test showing blood in urine (take Blood thiners exam showered it was slightly hard not quite normal having blood test camra and scan .anybody had this .worried re results
One of the reasons, but only one, for blood in the urine is urethal cancer. So be sure to get that checked for. The gold-standard way is be visual inspection - a thin light and vision tube is pushed up the penis by a urologist so s/he can look. Another is to use a molecular biomarker (such as NMP-22 or CxBladder).
That can be caused by many things. 1st, you could have an infection. It can also be caused by your kidney or a stone. Doesn't have to be cancer. Needless to say it should be checked out. I tend to pass blood in my urine when I take a high dose of Motrin, so that can also cause it. Yes, you could have prostate cancer as well, but I like to look at the bright side of things. Get it checked, OK.
