I'm day 7 of taking these.
I was on cit but it wasn't for me. Side effects were awful.

I feel very low today and tired would love to be cheered up by someone out there who has been on these. The DR did say it can take upto 2 weeks to see anything.
I'm 22. And also going counselling.
See Michelle i have not taken the mexicines but as far as i have read people's posts on this portal .... most of them had awful side effects after taking the medicines .... so its very common and you are certainly not alone and if doctor says that it will give results in 2 weeks then you should beleive in him ....however you must inform him about your side effeCTS and follow whatever he says ....
See if he will give you a low dose benzo until the Prozac kicls in.. I take lexapro 10 mg and ativan 0.5 up to 4 a day if needed. They do help a lot.. They are addicting but I'm tired of suffering with side affects..
Went Xmas shopping today and just felt in a world of my own. Like I'm in a daze/ lightheaded.
Iv had enough of feeling like this! It brings me down and makes me not want go do anything and scared. Will this pass? Has anyone experienced this? And got through it? And any tips?
Yes I get those feelings to.. I just try to push thru them.. Do you take any meds?
I'm day 10 now of taking Prozac and my arms are really achy and shaky. Is there anything I can do to help this? Has anyone expierenced this?
Did u get this feeling before? I'm really suffering with it after 5weeks on meds but I also had a similar feeling before due the high anxiety but its now constant and I only feel OK when laid doing nothing. 
Yeah got this before meds. DR said mess will help with the dizzyness so maybe you should go back to your DR. Iv seen no difference in the dizzyness yet. But iv only been on it 10 days and I have a appointment this week to maybe up my dosage. As it's driving me nuts. Good luck!! Xx
Yes my Dr said maybe up the dose but I'm scared it will get worse as they can cause this feeling as well as treat it in some people. I have this 24/7. I'm also 8mnths pregnant. Its Ruining my life! Makes u feel crazy doesn't it. It feels like ur really drunk in a bad way.
I was doing well on 10mg after 13 days then went down hill and spaced out feeling was back. So upped to 20mg then the sickness and headaches started. That's passed now but still got the dizzy feeling caused by anxiety levels. Today is 5weeks but was told it can take 6-12. I know how awful it feels ! X
I hope you get better! I know the feeling it's bloody awful. I'm going back to DR Friday and will mention about the dizziness and I feel anxious now and again too. I'm on 20mg they may up it I don't know. I will keep you posted. Also you should try counselling. Iv been before and works wonders and going for walks. And nice long baths.

the dizzy unreal feeling is anxiety I found it hard to believe at first. They think its birth trauma, I had this after my son and it came bk at 22 weeks pregnant this time. Sertline cured it last time but this time I had a reaction to it hence trying flu/prozec

The dizziness is horrible. And it's weird how it's linked to anxiety.
Yeah will keep you posted. I was on cit only for 5 days but that was bloody aweful. My mums on fluxo and Shes loving life. I think it just takes time and our body and anxiety take over you know.

My mum is the same. They say anxiety orders can to in our blood. U say dizzy are u dizzy as in lose of balance? I call it dizzy too but its more like I'm in a bubble/dream state/not really there. Is this new since ur meds? Sorry if iv asked this already x

Now I feel like in a dream/ bubble. So I know exactly how you feel. It's horrible.
It's funny how our mums are loving life and we're not lol. Must be light through the tunnel though as it goes to show.
I get anxious and irritable too sometimes.

Least we feel the same which helps us know its normal as much as it doesn't feel it. I got rid of it last time I can do it again. I'm 28 and I need my life bk.
Well done for getting through it. I hope We both do. Yes 28 is young. I'm 22 and can't go out with my friends anymore or work at the moment. Keep each other posted how we both get on x
Last 3 days iv felt very on edge / anxious in the day. Iv had to call the DR no more appointments left so I'm waiting for one to call me back. It's horrible. My breathing feels so heavy too last 3 days ( like I'm
About to have a panick attack ) and I'm on my own today. So makes me feel really lonely.
So DR rang me back as I couldn't get a appointment so late. As after I called them I had a cup of tea and threw it up. She said ita possibly a bug you have picked up. ( I was worried as I haven't been on these very long and last 3 days iv felt anxious )
Last 3/4 days iv had bad morning anxiety waking shaking heavy breathing & I get worried. Yesturday I was sick too ( DR said was just a bug )
I haven't been on Prozac even 2 weeks yet.
And it's my birthday today had cancel all my plans it's rubbish! I used to be active.
