Is anyone else going insane with itchiness?

I itch in my scalp, my arms (dry skin) my back, neck legs/ infact everywhere.

The reason I'm on here is because I'm exhausted but can't sleep for scratching.

I get this strange feeling like somethings creeping under my skin too

Am I going Mad?

I know it!  I always feel like there are little bugs crawling on me!  what the heck?  I really can't believe all the garbage that goes along with this.  Crazy.  No rash or anything, just itch.  Humidity does NOT help any of my symptoms.  ugh.  So humid here right now - all week.  Makes my head pound.

This meno stuff is really getting me down

Atleast it's not just me itching though, I was starting to get hypochondriac ideas ha 

Going to try and drop off in spare room if I can

My itching happens when my thyroid meds are to low.....

I get  itchy back and arms  mostly at night ,think hormones had it for years  well 20 yrs since onset of Meno at 48yrs ,never ever stopped .I suffer from dry Ecezema Back of ears and inside ,and scalp only ,I think that's purely allergies ,as I've now got Sinisitis in past 10 yrs ,Hormones again I believe as well part of that to .Never had the crawling feeling under skin ,hope I never do either .This meno just never wants to give up and go .

  Many symptoms to it ,even to now having to watch out for foods we eat .

  Did you look the symptoms up on this site fair number of them .

have been to docs for stronger treatment but feel exhausted and really guilty as I've come to bed to rest

Sorry you've got it so bad  think with how stressing with it ,worse it becomes .I went for a neck op ,the neck consultant sent my GP an EMail ,wanting mine looked at ,she was surprised he sent EMail .I just live with it ,I've had creams etc like yourself Hydrocortizone made it far worse ,gave me lot of pain from its use ,no matter how little I put it on ,so binned that .

    Wish I had some good advice as to what to try really do ,it's making you so miserable not good .Theres many it's cause. List is endless .Its finding what will be of best to help .Look at anything containing SLS on shampoo ,soaps etc ,they say anything containing this is bad news for skin conditions .cant remember it's full name ,just wrote the letters ,now I check it out .Go look at your shampoo and soaps .Best wishes to you
