I had this great gp who really helped me but she has been off sick for 10 months. I am worried she wont come back abd told psychologist and he said I was too attached and then started saying she got too emotionally involved and gp's should be more clinical. He made it sound like he did a bad job and she shouldnt have supported me as she did. He then said she prob wont come back! I dont get why he was saying all this..made me feel abnormal.
My psychiatrist says not so nice things like that to me also. My GP who just retired was more compassionate and understanding. I miss him. Have to find a new one and start from scratch.
Not good...we are human beings and they act like its wrong to have a connection. Im sorry your gp retired. Thats so hard 😟
Hi k8861 - sorry to read you are being disconnected like this. My docs also had rather cruel things to say. i think he is testing your response, see what reaction you have to confronting or challenging statements. If it doesn't feel right get another doc.
