Any reason why I have had a pulse beat feeling around the area of the scar from cholecystectomy that I had a few years ago?
No pain, just the pulse, and I could see it pulsating.

Hi Fred,
I have a scar that still ,after almost a year, feels warm to the touch. And I think mine did pulsate sometimes. I did ask doctor and she reassured me, that deep cuts take time. Can you email doc. and ask?
Gail
I will mention it to the doc the next time I have an appointment as I haven't experienced it since.
I take it you had the cholecystectomy too?
I imagine it is just the nerves acting up where the incision was made.
So how are you feeling since having your operation? It is such a relief for me. Looking back now through the years, I had gallbladder trouble for years. Always put it off as, nervous stomach, IBS ,ate something bad. Then my grown son has attacks has his out, my second sons, same thing but hasn't had his out yet.

Hi and thanks for asking.
I feel alright most of the time, just having to get used to life without the gallbladder in that having constant running bile from the liver can often be a nuisance, other than that the pain I was experiencing at the time was getting unbearable, and after xray they noticed I had gallstones, and said that the pain was related to the GB being inflamed, so the decision was made to have it removed, and although I was slightly worried about it I believe it was for the best.
