For at least two months I’ve noticed the artery in my right palm has become prominent than in the other and I can see and feel it visibly pulsating in one spot. Could this have occurred as the result of a traumatic injury such as a heavy blow to that area of my palm? I do remember riding my skateboard one morning in July while it was still dark out. While I was headed back home I hit a crack and suddenly lost the board under my feet and shot forward. To keep myself from falling I reached for a short chain link fence to my right. My hand smacked the pointed part of the fence that was sticking out above the bar. It was sore for a few days and then I forgot about it but have noticed this artery is more prominent and I’m assuming that’s why.
