Hi all am at a lost here, my two serum bloods where high for cortisol, am in the uk the gp told me too do 3 x 24 hour urines at the same time every morn (which i dont think was the right time too do all three) he said they are all normal am not sure what too do next , what are the levels i ask for is it Creatinine for the urine test? thanksx

Hi. Ive never done urine test but I'm on a forum where lots of ppl have. They normally collect for 24 hrs but not their first urine of the day. Id question this testing.

my husband had to do the 24 hr urine testing but it was all day urie for 3 days not just the first one of the day?

Hi what time of the day did your husband do the test, and do they all go into the one container. x

This is normal to do , lm an acute nurse and our physians will do both same time .

The 24 hour urine is normally all urine. Or voids over the 24 hours , need to discuss this with your specialist if not sure as these tests used for lots of illnesses  and all specialists do for different reasons , so all of us on site will have had different things done for different reasons and we are not experts , talk to specialists for all explanations ,
