ENT sent me for MRI for unilateral hearing loss. I'm a nervous wreck as you can imagine and tried to feel out the tech but she was giving no clues. She did say wait in the waiting room for my MRI cd. I said, no thanks bc I will be tempted to look and scare the crap out of myself. She said oh no you have to take it to your doctors appointment.(which is on Tuesday) Feeling like a total bone head I started laughing and waited for my disk. My appointment was later in the afternoon second to last of the day so my question is this
1) would they give me the disk if in fact there were something bad on it?
2) did the radiologist already read it before the desk was burnt?
3) will my ENT be seeing the disk for the first time when I give it to him?
I'm just trying to better understand how this process works so I don't overthink things and drive myself crazy… Too late LOL
Elizabeth ent sent me for an MRI due to a pulsating in my left ear I was in there for over an hour it was very worrying I got my results two weeks later and thankfully nothing showed up in my ear or neck, although they saw something in my nasal space so I went for an eua of my nasal space on tues and biopsy if needed and thankfully again no biopsy was needed it was a very worrying few weeks waiting on results I hope everything works out alright for you,

Glad everything worked out. I have my appointment on Tuesday and am so curious to know if the ENT will be viewing the results for the first time with me in the room. Also, did radiology read it yet? To me it all seems so weird.
One would assume If something major was seen I would have either been told to hang out a bit while radiology reviewed it or been given a call by my ENT not just handed a CD and told, see ya!
