No, HSV2 will only be transfered from genital to genital area. if you have HSV2 it is only genital. He can go down on you too. and wont get it on his mouth. HSV1 can be passed on to both. so in my opinion mouth cold sores are more dangerous than genital herpes because if can cause genital herpes.
However, having HSV1 on the genitals is less severe.
