This is probaly a daft question but when I first got the prescription a few months ago my GP asked if I pay for my prescriptions I said no as this is the first year I am entitled to free scripts due to drop in wages, right she said thats good, which I thought was a bit odd,in April when I come to renew I dont think I will be entitled anymore so was wondereing are these a more expensive script than say antibiotics? etc
all prescriptions are the same price hun which is just under £8.00.
I'm going to ask for 2mths supply this time and see if that comes in as 1 prescription or 2, will let you know, still so much cheaper than buying Alli from the shops which is 3rd of the strength
Ahh right thanx just thought it was strange when she asked do I pay also I dont think you can get 2 scripts on 1 form and only pay for 1,I only say this coz when me and my hubby stopped smoking last year we asked for 2 scripts on 1 form and she said they couldn't do it ,but ask anyway that might have just been smoking clinic rules.
Hi - I have been Orlistat for a few months - has been a success so far (am nearly 6 stone lighter due to tablets and calorie counted eating plan).
The Nurse I see for monthly weigh-in always gives me prescription for 2 months tablets (classed as 1 item) and therefore only pay £7.20 for 2 months supply.
Hope this helps
Mandy
