Hello, I have been out of work since March for a big toe fusion. I work heavy construction
Lots of lifting , climbing , steep slopes , traffic control up to 8 hours standing on blacktop, guiderail repair etc. I also have anxiety pretty bad and I am so worried the doctor is going to release me no restrictions in a few days. I really would like some restrictions and work seems receptive to the idea. But I’m freaking out the doctor isn’t going to want to hear it and say I’ve had my 3 months and back to work 100 percent. Does anyone have any experience working with their doctor to ease back in to this heavy work ? Or is my anxiety just getting the best of me? I’m so embarrassed to even bring it up but it’s eating away at me. Thank you !
