Hi,
Does anyone find that after being so sick with nausea, cramps and stomach pain and bloating all day long that when you lay down most of it calms down especially at night?
I find i feel better when I lay down. How long ago was your surgery?
Hi carol, Had my surgery Jan. 30 this year. Was doing fair until Sept. then all heck broke loose. Had 3 stomach viruses in a row then 9 days of bad nausea, 2 days headache, 7 days of diarrhea and indigestion. Then came the horrid gas and bloating. Couldn’t eat or even drink water. Went to ER, tests, and appointment with GI end of Nov
I thought gastritis and ibs flare up but no info yet. Am so depressed and frightened of stomach cancer
Was given Caltrate which stopped some nausea but made me so constipated it created more nausea and bloating with more pain. Now my reflux is acting up too. Since this operation my life is in jeopardy.
Hi Audrey, I do feel all my symptoms are better at night (still not well but less severe) and laying down at night does calm them. Did you have any bad symptoms after your surgery or did they start in Jan.?
Got very sick in Sept. which was seven months after the Jan. surgery.
I was running to the bathroom more and more often right after surgery but at that time thought my ibs was acting up.
