Question!

i have been on cit for 10days, I didnt tell my doctor i was an alcoholic and for the first 4days i didnt drink , i started drinking little ammounts, but today i fin d myself getting back in to my old routine.

I have drank a can of special brew (which I have never drank befor) an now im drinking a liter of cider, along with 4 pain killers because i have a splitting head ach.

I do not feel drunk at all but i feel fairly floaty and its not a good thing or a bad thing really.

I was just wondering if what I have done today will make difference to the citalopram in teh long run, I still havent started feeling any different from taking this stuff, apart from the 1st 4 days where i felt fairly spaced out.

I no what I am doing isnt rite but I was just wondering what I should do.

Thankyiu if you respond I truelly appreciate it =)

it does say in the info leaflet not to drink but i little wouldnt hurt. i would suggest that you speak to your doc about your drinking though as cit may not be right for you if you drink heavy :D

Tahnks i wisshed i told him , just done something very stupid, but i will be fine =) thanks for the reply

hey, be careful with the painkillers. i've had a blazing headache since i started taking cit and my doctor didnt warn me against taking anything but apparently you should not take aspirin, ibuprofen or advil because they can irritate the stomach and this one is a bit of an assault on the stomach lining anyway and asprin thins the blood. so in short stick to plain old paracetamol!

i am desparate for a drink and i'm not a heavy drinker, it could be a side effect.
