I AM 8 month post hemrroidectomy this last week i have noticed more tightening is muscle when going to bathroom foes it take this long for us to heal and has anyone else experienced this!
If I were you I would give it to month 9 if not better they might have to stretch the muscle, diet most important thing the first year..
THANK U FOR YOUR RESPONSE, im going to a colon rectal surgery yo hopefully get rid extra skin and a thrombossed hemrroid fromm extra skin left over
From what I’m hearing is in most cases that extra skin thing goes away in time…I wasn’t left with that cause I had the fissurectomy as well, I guess they need all the skin they can to stitch it up, Hahahaha, in time all will be good I promise you, hang in there..
if thats true why do they call it external tags that hurt and swell! then become thrombosed i was given a cream proctozone hc- 2.5 used it for 5 weeks now im finally going to find out if these general surgeons know anything! so ready for answers other than you have to live with it , we go through hell that no one understands months go by and keep hoping to be normal down there but it never comes! grr just want healing!
patients it will be fine eventually, I promise you…hang in there, some of these surgeons know what there doing…
i will give a update TUEDSAY what this specialist says i just want to be pain free and nothing to swell!
did your fissure heal from the fissurecotmy ?
how was recovery from that surgery?
it healed fine, recovery a 8 out of 10 if you suffer from fissures the pain from surgery not that bad.. I actually found the fissure before surgery hurt more then the recovery, fissures have to be the most painful think besides tooth infection and sciatica attack, those 3 are the most painful things your body gives, to brake a bone is a treat compared to those 3… if you’re fissure gets infected, probably most painful thing that could happen to you…
thanks. yes fissures are so painful had mine for a year. did your fissure get infected?
when I finally went to surgeon he said there was a start of infection so he gave me penicillin and scheduled surgery rite away, I’m just so glad all the pain and discomfort is over been suffering since early 20s had surgery done at 42 more then 2 decades in pain while I should have had the surgery years ago.
what was the name of the surgery you had on the fissure ?
I am in my 20’s been suffering for a year. Had botox for the fissure hasn’t worked yet.
Is your fissure 100% healed now? do you still take softeners to avoid getting fissure again?
do you follow any diet?
fissurerectomy/Hemmerectomy, here’s the deal with fissures, the first time you have the tare you can heal with medicines and diet but if it happens again it is extremely difficult for it to heal because of the scar tissue, with operation the surgeon cuts and stitches on fresh tissue, and I dont use softeners anymore I try to stay hydrated, seems to work, after operation fissure 100% healed…
hi, thanks for replying back. sounds like it was LIS surgery you had.
fissurerecomty is when they only remove scar tissue. no cutting is involved or stiching.
LIS they cut
