Quiet Stillness, Zero pressure, would love the experience of..

Zero Gravity!....   Have you ever noticed how the brain can dumb down your pain a little bit, when on the odd occasion you get into a position, and/or focussing on something whilst in that position?  Pure Bliss to have the pain issues lessened with just the odd twang of pain, the odd twinge, milder aching.....

I am able to just float on the water which is nice, like a floppy star fish, or hands behind me head and I don't sink, it is fantastic!   I just wish I could sleep and rest like that when ever I had to..     Often wonder what a waterbed could now do for me?   Any one ever tried one?   Not a firm one, but one of the later/original sort that have just a semi waveless motion.  You still feel the floating feeling, and NO pressure area's.  Would be bliss!   Wonder if they are still available??  OR maybe even a single sized Gel filled one like they have for innersoles in shoes, which by the way are fantastic!

Absolutely deb...with you there..., I do hydrotherapy....whenever I am just floating or even slowly moving in a warm swimming pool  I feel no aches or pains or muscl spasms/cramps..I could stay there forever...maybe we could be inventors of something here, lol...wouldn't it be great.and wouldn't we get rich..? just from Fibro sufferers..mm...keep on dreaming Chris.!!.....but we gotta be positive and have our dreams deb..be blessed :-) xxx

Funny enough, I was just saying to my husband the other day, that I could do with something like hydrotherapy.  Maybe look into this in the coming weeks as have got a busy few days with visitors from Washington staying with me for a few days.  Just having that feeling of no aches and pains sounds amazing. Like Christine has said an invention to help fibro sufferers could be in the making.  xx

Hi Deb I tried a friends water bed many years ago I didnt like it, I t made me feel sick.? I like the thought of a blue thick cold gel matress as cold as you like would be great especially when your burning hot like I am every night. When I had carers in last year they brought me this cover to put on the bed it was full of bubbles, it was to ease getting pressure point sores. it helped with the pain as it felt like you were floating on air.Im just wondering if we could buy it to help us will have a google and see. sorry Ive gone on a ramble take care deb gentle hugs

Ramble away Kaz... haha.... NO ONE can ramble/waffle/chat on as much as me on most days!...  I'm the novel writer, turning one point into several other points and one sentence into a big paragraph! hahaha

YET I'm not a big talker as a rule!

Yes I wondered about the sea sickness type feeling, hardcase.

I'm really intrigued about the bubbly bed cover, that sounds like bliss!  I have often wondered what they use in hospitals etc for some extremely delicate patients.  Yes, and I wondered about the Gel filled type option, is there one??  There should be!  Do let me know if you discover anything..

Hi Bee, just interrupting your conversation with deb here, I learned at the local hospital my excercises for hydro..I'm their tank...if you could call them excercise. The. I joined the local resorts health club..I only use their heated swimming pool, I love it....there is no one ever there when I use it..which is iabout 10am, it's only around the corner too...please do try it..it's amazing...have a lovely day and be blessed..:-)

I agree the heated pools are fantastic..  I still have to be careful not to over do it with my arms/neck otherwise I'm in trouble for week-s....  But I do enjoy my stretches, gentle moving and 'Floating'...  Sadly as I'm now not an earner and living on a slim budget I no longer can reg/war/run my vehicle...  so it makes it very difficult for me.  I wind up over doing things with walking the distance there and back, it's just not worth it to put myself through it now.

Hi Christine, will try and see if I can get down to the local resorts.  x

You'll love it..I had to join the health club ...they also have a large spa. a sauna-(I've got one  at home) and a good gym..I only use the pool but have to pay for the lot...but I can get one cheaper going through the Arthritis foundation but the pool they use is just too far away. to bother...I can just put my swimmers on and dress over it and go..then shower and come home with wet hair..nobody sees me..lol..a bit vain there....but there is nothing like being weightless in the warm pool...even on days when I can't even walk up and down..the therapist told me still go in, as the water in itself that laps around the body is very good for circulation.,so really fir once it's a win win..be blessed Vee..have a lovely day..:-) cx
