my boyfriend and i have unprotected sex, but i am on the nuvaring so pregnancy should not be an issue... today, while at work i felt blood ooze out of me, which is odd in it of itself because i do not menstrate thanks to my birth control. i go to clean up, and i see the blood is thick and very dark. it takes several tries to clean up the amount of blood on my underwear and pants... when i sat on the toilet blood fell out of me as well. i have never experienced this sheer degree of blood before from spotting, or even the start of a period. i had been having headaches, back/neck pain (both of which are common for me), as well as some very odd mood swings, such as sadness and depression. im hoping its just menstration, but this isnt ordinary for me so i am worried it could be miscarriage
