Hi all! So i was diagnosed with hsv 1 and 2 back in march but I've never had a breakout. Fast forward to about July I have been having chronic yeast infections. I also have the mirena iud in (which i am getting taken out soon). Since July I have had this persistent itching on the outer lips of my vagina. It had turned a lighter pink than the rest of the outside. The gyno said it was just the yeast that got onto the outside and i was prescribed nystatin. Even though that helped change the color back it is still intensely itching every day since july to now. Recently i got my results back from my pap smear and it came back abnormal. I am hpv free and the cells are of unknown significance but the gyno did a colposcopy today (spell check) and im waiting on those results. OK SO the main issue im having now is I shaved yesterday for the first time in about 2 months. Best shave ever. Well tonight all of a sudden my vagina started getting REALLY itchy and next thing i know bumps started popping up. I am not sure what they are. Is this my 1st outbreak? Have i been having an outbreak all along with my intense itching? I don't think its herpes as it doesnt look like it. Any help would be appreciated!
Just looks like shaving rash to me i get this almost everytime i shave. use a non perfumed moisturiser
Shave rash. I get this too. The area is very sensitive. Luckily I am single, so I’ve let it grow and it’s not an issue at this time in my life haha!
