Hi there Zainab, I already replied to you in my post. I really feel for you cause my anxiety started exactly when I was your age, and I happened to get the same symptoms you're experiencing. Those head pains you're describing sound like ice pick headaches and they are v common in people with anxiety. You're barely starting to live, your symptoms are like 99 percent to be because of anxiety. The fact that you have many different symptoms on different parts is clear sign. Brain tumors can happen but are very rare at your age. Have you talk to your parents/legal guardian about this? It can be hard to talk with other people when they don't have anxiety, but I'm sure they will do everything for you to get better. Tell them to take you to the doctor to get reassurance and then to psychotherapist. You're just 14 years old and you should focus on being happy and enjoying school, going out with your friends etc. My best wishes to you dear x.
thankyou so much, you made me feel better, i told my parents. they made an appointment with a physchologist in 2 weeks, but like sometimes its hard to believe its nothing
Head or body? Brain zaps are a common occurrence in anxiety. That said I get it in the body too. Quite far down the list of worries as far as anxiety goes.
I've had this from anxiety! They were like Cluster headaches kind of. It was on the left side of my head, I'd have muscle tension all day and then every now n then sharp shooting zaps. I was soooo worried I had a brain tumor or something. Lasted for a few weeks and then I had an MRI done. Once I heard the MRI was clear, I began to calm down and the symptoms subsided. Haven't had them since, but now I have new different symptoms from anxiety like chest pains and dizzyness -____- it never ends !!! Grrr
i get head zaps, or even the back of my head feels heavy and is a but painful, and my body had pain in different parts but now its better, thankyou for your reply
thankyou, glad to know its nothing, i always think my symptoms are something serious, and i always get new symptoms after the other one finishes, so before my headache i had palpitations, i found out it was caused by my anxiety and then it stopped, now my anxiety makes me think i have brain tumor..anxiety is annoying
Haha yep! That's how it works. Once you get used to a symptom or you realize that it's nothing serious, it'll go away and a new one takes it place! Starting the fear all over again -__- so fun
