I know I definitely felt it this morning waking up from a bad dream. I blame exhaustion from weight training yesyerday and overeating Chinese food. Lol. Never again. Oh, and I didn't drink enough water.
Yeap I do... I take 3x a day propranolol xxx
Hi racquel thanks for your reply. You may be right about what you eat. I had a bad experience after a thai meal once. Just going to keep an eye on things
Hi ilda thanks for your reply. I take 60mg of co-tenidone a day and the adrenaline still seems to beat it. Just hoping it will all calm down soon.
Hi, ask your doctor to try propranolol. From my experience as soon as I take it not even a minute after my heavy chest is gone and my heart rhythm goes back to normal. xxx
Just give it time. You're worrying about it too much! I know I know it's kind of hard to if you suffer from anxiety or panic as I do. This stuff doesn't just fix you all together but it will help out a lot if you just give it time.... I've been on this stuff for probably 4 months and I feel like it is working better and better as time goes on. It seems as though a person needs to find the correct dose and take it religiously at the same time everyday for at least a few months to see any real benefit.... At least that's how it seemed to work for me . I started out at 25 milligrams and over the course of three months I ended up on a dose of 200 milligrams as recommended by my doctor because I was convinced that neither 100 nor was doing anything for me. But after being on the 200 milligram dose or a little under a week I realized that was way too much for me... So I dropped back down to 150 milligrams and took that for a month religiously everyday at the same time and here I am feeling a lot better than I was then... so until you find the correct dose for you I and ll take it religiously or a reasonable amount of time you probably won't see any real benefit but hang in there and I can assure you that you will most likely benefit...
Hi deborah99433,
I get rapid heart beats as well, but I'm not sure if it's Sertraline, or because I have an irregular heart beat anyway which is being controlled by tablets. I'll have to check the side effects! Hope you sort them soon! 😊
