From the age of 8 i have had the same agonising headache on my right side same place never went away till this day , at 12 migraines started , not normal ones the worst pain i have ever experienced and they would happen everyday sending me to emergency department and my blood pressure would go up into the 200s with these migraines , i had 4 neurologists trying to figure out why at the time . Last november ( I was 15) I was in school when i started having what we was told was a stroke at the time , my while right side of my body was fully paralysed i couldent feel anything i was going in and out of conciousness with my eyes rolling back , huge pupils , slurred speach and i was unable to put my foot or hand flat. i had NO head pain whatsoever whitch is strange for me . I was treated as a stroke paitent straight away then after i was given a mri , everything looked normal so i was given a diagnosis of hemeplic migraines , with hemeplic migraines you are suppose to have a bad headache the next day and recover the same day , i was discharged in the same state i came in with . that same night i got worse a full cabbage at thus stage same thing over and over until may this year , it had been a month since my last episode and i did physio and brain recovery and could function again but i was left with speech problems left foot wouldn’t go flat on the ground and 3 of my fingers on my right side are still paralysed . Still till this day i have the same issue . Anyway so in may i had another episode this time it included sezuires i forgot who my mum was and dident know where i was ( I forgot to mention almost every female in my family has had multiple strokes and my mum has a brain disease called moya moya disease ) I was told by a nero scientist who came to see me that my brain scans ( i had 8 done) was not done in contrast meaning they could only see the bases of it so i had my final brain scan done and this one showed the glandce in my brain was swelled whitch was the cause of my “ kidney problems” i had at the time that was not actually my kidney just my brain swelling , but even that dident explain my symtoms , so i had my spine mri done and i had nerve damage throught my whole spinal cord , after that a team of brain surgens worked hard to try figure it out . it took until my brain diagram of my artery for them to be able to see all of my arteries are miniture and abormal causing blockages that repair themselfs almost instantly ( They did originally look for this but because they dident see a “puff of smoke” whitch is typical in moya moya disease on my scans before hand they ruled it out ) leading me to be left with permanent damage to my brain
