Have you changed washing detergent, fabric softener or shower gel? I get something similar from a preservative they add to so many products called methylisothiazolinone. In fact anything ending in zolinone triggers allergic dermatitis, allergic conjunctivitis and sometimes even breathing issues. These preservatives are in loads of products everything from shampoos to cleaning products. They are even in paints and wallpaper pastes. Check the ingredients to your toiletries, hand creams, cleaning products etc and if anything has a preservative ending in zolinone try anther product which doesn't have it in and see if the rashes improve. If it isn't that go and get a full allergy test.
hi moon,
thanks for your reply. nope, no change in my use with any of those products since when i started taking loratadine a few months ago
unless I have somehow developed an allergy since then?
This may be your body just reacting to withdrawal of Loratidine. If this gets worse or you feel short of breath do see your doctor or if severe,go to A/E .
Thank you Marina,
But I have never had any withdrawal symptoms from stopping loratadine in the past 10+ years of using it a few months per year.
do you think i should just see if the rashes and itchiness disappear on its on without further administration of loratadine?
I have no shortness of breath, no abdo pain or nausea/vomiting. no angiodema, no dizziness or fainting
