I went to urgent care and the doc there didn't know what it was. Believes it to be some kind of allergy. Hasn't shown signs of clearing.
It looks like it could be dermatitis, which is usually a reaction to something you have come in contact with. As it is around your scalp and shoulders, it may be a hair product you are using. Have you used a new shampoo, conditioner or styling product recently?
If it is itchy or stingy, try taking an antihistamine tablet, it may help calm it down a bit. You need to see a dermatologist really.
It could be an allergic reaction related to things you’re using such as pillows, bed sheets, soaps, shampoos or perfumes. Clean your affected areas with some mild soap and water, and take an oatmeal bath for relief.
