hey! just curious if anyone has suffered such bad anxiety and weeks on end of worry they've come out in a rash / skin tone change .. anything along them lines? it's not horrendous but enough for me to notice.. I've told and shown docs, they aren't worried and have possibly said stress or start of eczema.. but mine doesn't look anything like eczema, can it be very minimal before it gets bad? with my health anxiety I got into a panic and self diagnosed myself with sepsis.. doctor said if it was sepsis I would know about it.. plus bloods I had done a few weeks back (for other things) would have shown if anything sinister was happening....
try to relax. . Sepsis would show up in your blood test because your white blood cells would be extremely high. And you would have a fever among other symptoms. When we try to self diagnose, 99% of the time we are wrong. We don’t have enough medical background or knowledge to self diagnose. What usually ends up happening is our negative thoughts lead to serious illness type of self diagnosing. we cannot diagnose ourselves based on what Google says. So don’t even bother with that if you were doing it because it will only make you more anxious for nothing. Leave it to the medical experts. Yes, you can break out in a rash due to stress and anxiety. That happened to me when I was in college many years ago. I broke out in a rash from head to toe . all due to stress and anxiety! It eventually went away on its own after I had a visit to the doctor. What you need to do is learn how to manage your anxiety and what might be causing it. Visit a therapist or counselor for support.listen to some great meditations on YouTube for anxiety. I do this every night and it really helps. Stay active and busy so that you don’t overthink things. And take care of your health by eating good foods and getting some exercise. Take care
anything is possible with anxiety. i would most likely think allergies for the rash and possibly a liver problem for the skin tone change. skin tone changes can also be attributed to a circulation problem usually leaving a bluish tint to your extremities (hands and feet). i would start with drinking lots of water to flush your system. i would also call my doctor and set up appointment to get some bloodwork done. Vitimins in your system could be lacking causing other problems. i think the anxiety is the effect and not the cause. try calling your doctor, get the blood work done and go from there. knowing for sure is half the battle.
thank you Jan, much appreciated. I do always turn to Google which I know I need to stop. anxiety is at an all time high last few days so nothing is calming down, its all just feeling worse, I know what I need to do its just tricky at times isnt it. I appreciate the reply and reassurance though. thank you very much.
