I’ve had a red/pink mark around my meatus/urethra opening for months now and I have no idea what it could be. It tends to flare up and look worse after masturbation. There is no pain whatsoever, sometimes it causes a very faint itching. No issues with urinating etc.
Extremely unlikely it could be STD related and I have also tested negative for any UTIs & HPV. Tried 2 different types of anti-fungal creams and they also did not clear up the problem.
Anyone else ever had this problem or anything similar?
Because of the location you need to be very careful not to get any cream applications inside your Meatus and further into your urethra as this can cause a major problem.
Because of the friction involved masturbation and sex will make the issue much worse. Try to abstain as much as possible until this is sorted out.
It would be best for you to get a diagnosis from a Urologist - you can often directly access these from the larger sexual health / STI services, if you live in the UK you can go to a GUM Clinic - otherwise get a referral from your own doctor …
