I personally would not give out a phone number.  There are alot of people who are not sincere so please be very careful.

You could pm your email address first rather than phone number...I've don this a few times and not had any problems

I would agree with all those who say be careful.

Also this site is really good and there are lots of tips and advice available and everyone can post their own experience which can be really reassuring and I have benefited from it as well and posted my own experiences. However you still have to remember that your own hip and treatment is unique and think what your own surgeons recommend before doing something that others do or stopping something too early.

I tend to use the site for moral support and for realizing that I'm not doing too bad which is very heartening and for accepting that pace of recovery varies and that other people have similar issues.

I think if anyone is worried about something they should still refer back to their doctors and hospitals which is of course what some posters advise!

Best advice on this site of all is take things steadily and slowly and don't rush!!
