REALLY bad case of Tonsillitis, should I go to the hospital?

Hi,

So I know there is a lot of threads like this but I'm not finding any with one of the symptoms I'm having.

It started off as any normal bout, yesterday evening i actually managed to eat without it hurting when i swallowed, but not 2 hours afterwards I could feel my throat closing up again.

I went to bed, tried to sleep, dozed of for about an hour and then woke up with this agonising pain in the throat on the right side, where my tonsil had been swollen,

I got my boyfriend to check my tonsils and he said they were no longer white but just very swollen and inflammed.

Now today, I can't even swallow anything without it trying to go up my nose, or without choking. My tongue feels swollen, my neck is all swollen too and my cheek also feels a bit numb. My airways are also very blocked so i can't breathe right when i lay down.

I can't drink or eat anything, and I'm VERY small as it is and can't afford to lose anymore weight.

Should I leave it to see what happens or go to he hospital tomorrow?

i would go to the hospital hun 

just to be on the safe side if your having trouble breathing 

best be safe then sorry

Yeah my boyfriend is going to take me tomorrow if it's still this bad, I don't think I can bare it much longer. I'll get way too dehydrated soon enough.

dont leave it any longer than tomorrow dehydration isent good

I didn't even need to go to the hospital today, for some amazing reason it;s completely calmed down, maybe it was just the worst of it? Today I've been able to eat and drink with minor pain and i can feel my tonsil starting to get smaller and less swollen. 

Still waiting on these damn lymph nodes to go down though, and I still cant open my mouth wider than an inch or so, just enough to get my toothbrush in there. When will that get better?
