Really bad tension?

Hi, I am just having some trouble with my chest and neck wondering if anybody has similar trouble.

I swollow quiet a lot and I've recently started hearing a click in my throats when I do and sometimes feels really tight, not really struggling to breathe but it's harder than usual.

Also my neck is really acheing, like it can not hold my head up it's hurting that much, is this all just tension? If not what else could it be? My gp keeps telling me it's all anxiety related.

Any tips on how to relieve the pain too? Please.

 Sounds like you're a doctor isn't too concerned. And that's a good thing! 

 anxiety literally has hundreds of symptoms including the ones you are dealing with. The tightness you feel in your throat is very common with anxiety.  I also have the aching neck and yes it's very painful. I am currently going to physical therapy for that. It has helped me a lot. How is your posture? Do you normally stand and sit straight? That could have a lot to do with neck pain because that's what happened to me. My posture  was bad and I would look at my iPad in the wrong position and it really affected my neck!  The reason my posture  was bad was because my anxiety would cause me to raise my shoulders and curl them in. I did that for years.

 my neck would click and it really hurt!   Usually heat helps to relieve the pain. I have one of those things you put around the back of your neck and shoulders and you heated up in the microwave. But I would say if you got some specific exercises from your doctor or physical therapy That would help the most.

 

Sounds like anxiety. Lots of muscle tension, how about a nice hot shower to relieve some of the tension? Or a short massage they have them at most nail salons at a very reasonable price. Ten minute massage but will help with the muscle tension. I dont know if you tried yoga but its good for people with muscle tension and such wth anxiety and well worth a try. Most everything is anxiety provoked.  This is a riugh disorder. If having ailments still anxiety gets provoked. A strong life lesson on learning to self calm. Some pain is way easier to relieve then others. Taking pain meds not so smart. They are onky meant for short term use otherwise they too have side effects that are not  safe, muscle tension reacts well to water heat. Water bottle or thise heat gel oacks and you can rotate with ice. Arnica gel works very well, i use that. And of course relaxing the body. Haha not  so easy at times. But ill say it anyway.  Ediatations work and many will out you to sleep by default. There are so many different ones available. They have for muscle tension as well. You can get very specific looking for meditation on utube. Be sure you are drinking throughout the day a lot of water and healthy drinks. Muscles react nicely to being hydrated. And lastly epsom salt (magnessium) foot soaks . Instructions are in the product. About two to three times a week is great for muscles. It absorbs right thru the foot soaks, thats all i can think of. i just want to say when they tell you its anxiety. Forst off they dont get it and secind off its anxiety times a fifty. This anxiety most of experience is a ton more intense then "just anxiety"
