Reassurance

I’ve been struggling with symptoms for a year, and I’ve been off of my antidepressant since June because they weren’t making me feel 100% better. I’m going to try another antidepressant at this point, but I’m scared because I keep thinking I have Lyme disease since I don’t feel better.

Symptoms:

Head pressure/pain

Dissociation

Nausea

Fatigue

Feelings of motion/dizziness

Lightheadedness/feel like passing out

Weird balance/uncoordinated

Light sensitivity

There’s really no escape from these symptoms. The one that concerns me most is that my head never feels good and like there’s pressure in it. Plus I have a weird type of dizziness where my head and body feel like they’re moving. It’s most prominent when lying down which sucks because I really have no way of truly relaxing. It’s like I’m floating or my body/head falls, shifts, is pulled, etc with every heartbeat.

I’m concerned because I don’t have panic attacks anymore and by no means am anxious all the time, yet the symptoms persist almost constantly.

Hi jeff i have had all the above happen to me and i can safely say its all down to anxiety.... jeff

Hey antidepressants don’t really work for me anyway and have tried a lot of different ones ask for a tranquilzer I take lorazepam and my antidepressants. The tranquilzer works wonders for me

Thank you. I know it is, i just get so freaked out because I haven’t found a regiment that’s works for me, so I don’t have relief. Thanks for your reply.

Thanks for your reply. I will ask my psychiatrist about this. I’ve read that Paxil and Xanax are a good combo for a lot of people too.

There is always good options out there just finding the right stuff for you. Good luck

Xanax are really addictive . Be careful on that and all the best wishes . Hope you feel better . Good to hear you have no panic attacks as I get them all the time
